May I please want...

Kaylee doesn't ask to have things, she asks if she may want them. Lily is getting a big kick out of this and told me today that she always thinks in her head, "Yeah, you can want that, but Mom won't let you have that!" A sampling of the things Kaylee is interested in...but can't have (Lily is right again.).

"May I please want a Coke?"

"May I please want coffee?"

"May I please want gum?"

"May I please want underwear (referring to Eli's)?"

"May I please want your bra (She has been playing in the growing laundry pile on our floor for a couple of days.)?"
