Another good resource for those age groups (I know our older kids will enjoy parts of it too) is
The first half of the book tells you about 20 - 25 books to read with your children. Lambert provides fun ideas to help you connect with the books and incorporate Bible, science, art, language arts, math, etc. The second half of the book is a "Parent's Treasury of Creative Ideas for Learning Readiness." This includes ideas for reading readiness, motor skills, activities in the kitchen, and more.
I always love to hear what other people have found useful and fun for their families, so let me know if you have some other great resources!
