I'd like to thank Eli for his lovely rendition (seriously, he doesn't hang out with drug addicts) of this old favorite:
It's raining, it's pouring;
The old man is snoring.
He went to bed and
Bumped his head
And couldn't shoot up in the morning.
He is living just outside of Music City. Maybe he has a future as a songwriter! He has to write what would sell - not just about his real life, right?!
Let me give you another prime example of his promise as a writer. 1 Peter 5:8 exhorts us to "be self-controlled and alert." Check out how Eli belts it out (click here for info on where Eli heard this song in its original form):
